Fine. I’ll admit it.
I’m a manipulator.
For almost two years, I’ve been trying to get people to click posts, open emails, and hold their interest until the last word.
But I bet you do something similar, whether selling a product, influencing child behavior, or advising a mentee on overcoming challenges.
And most likely, someone manipulates you daily. Or at least tries to.
For example, did you know that essential food items like cheese and milk are intentionally placed in the back of the store in hopes you’ll impulsively pick up unintended products?
And if you research manipulation tactics, most content focuses on marketing, sales, or relationship advice, all reinforced by professionals in their respective fields.
Yet when everyday Americans notice their government and public institutions do the same thing, we’re written off as conspiracy theorists.
1-When People Tell You How You Feel
We have more mind control than we think.
The Good
You’re feeling extremely relaxed… you’re comfortable… you’re here because you want to improve your health and stop smoking…
Hypnotists and therapists manipulate patients into calming down by telling them how they feel, and often our bodies respond to simple verbal cues.
Friends and family do the same thing to cheer us up, or a co-worker or manager might do something similar when we make a mistake while overworked.
The Bad
You were tired of the abuse… he’s beaten you for years…and you stuck up for yourself as anyone would…and killed your husband…
The days of foregoing a lawyer because it looks suspicious, are over.
I’ll say again. Many police investigators do their jobs well.
But evidence of negligent and reckless detective work from organizations like The Innocence Project proves that law enforcement regularly puts the wrong people in prison, intentionally or otherwise.
After enough time in an interrogation room, or “interview room,” as they call it, investigators often convince suspects how they feel and what they did, potentially leading to false confessions.
Jazz Jennings's lunatic mother employed this tactic on their TLC reality show as the poor kid broke down on camera, presumably from the stress of the adults in Jazz’s life that allowed the child sex change to happen.
The more you’re talking about yourself…it gets harder…you can’t get out of your head…you’re your own worst enemy… -Jazz Jenning’s mother
The Government
Well I tell you what, if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black. -President Joseph R Biden, 46th President of The United States of America
Being black, of course, isn’t a feeling, but the statement had the same intent.
Biden also loves telling us how afraid we should be of white supremacists and MAGA Republicans.
But traditionally, politicians justify wars or actions by guilting everyday people.
Whether it’s Vietnam or the Global War on Terror, politicians tell citizens it’s our duty to stop the spread of communism or Islamic extremism.
You wouldn’t want more violence to happen because we pulled out, would you?
Politicians know emotion is the key to votes.
But note that just because the manipulator may be correct doesn’t mean they have positive intentions.
2-When There’s No Alternative
There’s gotta be a better way.
The Good
You should stop going to the casino and delete your Draft Kings app.
Telling a friend there’s no way they can quit their gambling addiction unless they stop exposing themselves to the opportunity is reasonable.
Or encouraging someone to quit a stressful job where improvement is unattainable.
But the end goals in these situations benefit the gambler or overworked friend, not so much the manipulator.
The Bad
We can’t find a better suspect, so you must’ve robbed the bank.
Police investigators often get tunnel vision with a single suspect or theory when evidence suggests potential alternative conclusions.
Automotive sales and real estate are prime examples of where you’ll find sellers drawing customers to a single car or house as they want to offload their lemons.
The Government
You must get the vaccine… don’t worry about diet… don’t worry about ivermectin or other alternatives…your medical or religious exemptions are denied.
And the only approved option happens to be super lucrative for multiple entities.
Or:
Crime is a direct result of white supremacy…all of the violence is attributed to guns themselves…the only way to stop violence and crime is to punish law-abiding citizens.
A crucial step for any government with totalitarian dreams is to disarm the people.
Consider who stands to win when people push you down a one-way road.
3-When People Want to Isolate You
It’s the oldest trick in the book.
There’s safety in numbers. Just ask a lion.
The Good
Would you like to have dinner Thursday?
There’s an innocent side to the isolation technique.
This is why sales reps want to get decision-makers in one-on-one scenarios such as dinners or golf outings.
Without the pack, you’re more agreeable and have less influence to sway you the opposite way.
The Bad
You’re drunk, and you’re embarrassing yourself. I’ll take you home.
Like lions, human predators know they must isolate victims from the pack.
This is why offenders are prone to careers in education or religious institutions.
Meeting a romantic interest in public is one thing, but be mindful if someone continues to push you somewhere with fewer witnesses.
The Government
Abort that baby, divorce your spouse, live in this pod, and we’ll allow you to DoorDash your dinner.
As globalist institutions seek to control, they know they must break up the family unit.
Whether physically isolating people in their homes, promoting an independent lifestyle, or censoring information, governments and corporations learned a lot from the king of the jungle.
4-When They Overwhelm You With Information
It wasn’t that long ago that we had to print out directions for that trip to Cedar Point.
But is too much info a bad thing?
The Good
Check out our reviews, testimonials, and blog for more!
Online shoppers have more information available to them than ever before.
And consumers can usually gain all the info needed without speaking to a sales rep.
But that’s all pull information.
When it’s pushed on you, it sets a different tone.
The Bad

Lawyers and corporations know the everyday person isn’t going to read contracts or service agreements.
Most people won’t understand the legal jargon even if one takes on the task.
See TikTok’s terms of service, for example.
The goal is to overwhelm the reader with so much information they either don’t bother reading or give up in confusion, overlooking any clauses that negatively impact the user.
The Government
The experts say…
In early 2020, it was impossible to escape the constant flow of CV information.
We got emails from work, our cities, and the gas pumps never let us forget where to get a boost.
Politicians, like lawyers, intentionally overwhelm bills with unnecessary or unclear information hidden among legal jargon.
See HR 2617, The Consolidated Appropriations Act, a 4,000-page 1.7 trillion dollar spending bill passed last year.
This way, they can move the goalposts as needed.
Manipulators will also do this while speaking in person.
Zoomer influencers like Harry Sisson and Chris Mowrey do this well in their aggressive and rapid-fire nonsense on social media.
While wrong in most things they say, they’re successful with viewers who lack the confidence or knowledge to challenge their points.
Good Luck!
Mind control is real. It just didn’t pan out the way movies predicted.
It’s just psychology.
As impressive as the human brain may be, it’s flawed and easily manipulated when people, corporations, or governments know which buttons to push.
They know that to deceive you, they must distract you. And they know it’s not hard.
See for yourself.
Take this quick selective attention test if you have a minute, assuming you’ve never done so.
Or maybe you’ve heard of the experiment where researcher Elizabeth Loftus convinced people they’d been in a hot air balloon when they hadn’t by providing “photographic evidence.”
But the good news is we can defend these manipulation tactics by asking questions and doing our own research.
So watch out the next time you’re at the car lot or if you’re unfortunate enough to find yourself in an “interview room.”
And good luck the next time you “just need eggs” from the store.
But more importantly, don’t be afraid to question politicians and CEOs when they pull the same moves as crooked cops and scumbag predators.
